There's nothing better than a good rest, isn't it? It's for this reason that many people consider the bedroom as an almost sacred place. But for the bedroom to fulfill its purpose, it is important that the elements within it work together.

Applying feng shui in the bedroom is a great way to align the vibrations and find the harmony you need. Are you interested? So keep reading this post as we'll show you how your bedroom become a nicer place:

What is Feng Shui?

Feng shui is an ancient technique whose goal is to harmonize the spaces by means of the balance of yin and yang. According to theory, the flow of energy can be improved by modifying the arrangement of things in space.

Created in China 3,000 years ago, feng shui means "wind and water." Its bases are established in the principle of 2 antagonistic forces: the sky (yin) and the earth (yang). Though opposites, these energies complement each other.

This technique analyzes the excess and stagnation of vital energy (ki) in the environment and its interaction with the energy field of human beings. Therefore, the result of the application allows the improvement of emotional, work, money and even health issues.

How to apply Feng Shui in the bedroom:

Keep the place clean

Clean the closet (inside and out) and remove any dust from the furniture as it makes it difficult to renew the energy. It is advisable to also get rid of everything that you no longer wear like old clothes and accessories, as they may be stealing your strengths.

Get rid of the past

This tip goes beyond donating clothes and objects. Keeping belongings of loved ones that are gone can damage the flow of energy, as well as bringing memories that can hurt and end the high spirits.

Fix what is broken

Accumulating broken objects goes against the main rule of feng shui, which is "fix what is broken". And that goes not only for the bedroom, but for any environment.

Avoid excess electronics

The electric currents disturb the tranquility of sleep. Therefore, avoid leaving devices in or near the bed. For televisions and computers, if you can't remove them, at least unplug them before sleeping.

Do not use too many mirrors

Mirrors reflect light and energy. That way, the ideal is to have only one mirror in the room, so that it is not positioned facing the bed or window. When you put it in front of the bed, it causes sleep interferences; and facing the window, expels the good vibes.

Now that you know the basic techniques of applying feng shui techniques in the bedroom, I really hope you achieve harmony, prosperity and restful nights of sleep! 💖
